- MUSIC DIRECTOR - Mike Ferguson, Director -Principal, Eastern Commerce C.I. and Subway Academy & Former Vice-Principal and Head of Music, North Toronto CI. 1st Violinist, Artemis String Quartet.
- ASSISTANT MUSIC DIRECTOR/JAZZ MUSIC COORDINATOR - Larry Shields - Freelance musician, is the bass trombonists for David Clayton Thomas, the Paul Read Orchestra and the Hannaford Street Silver Band. He is an instructor at the University of Toronto, and Music Director for the Weston Silver Band, Larry is also a Yamaha YC Artist Educator. Currently Larry is Music Coordinator for De la Salle College "Oaklands".

THE MUSIC FACULTY:
Our band/orchestra music faculty is made up of performing artists and teachers, many of whom play in major Canadian Orchestras or teach on University music faculties and in leading High School music programs. Each evening the Faculty present a concert in our theatre featuring various ensemble combinations from solo performance to full string orchestra or wind ensembles. During the High School and Jazz Camp, there are separate Jazz and Band/Orchestra Faculty Concerts except for 2 combined evenings devoted to Jazz or all Band/Orchestra programs. These concert hall quality performances are an important source of inspiration and motivation for aspiring young musicians. The goal of N.M.C is to encourage serious musicians and at the same time develop future audiences who have both an understanding and love of music.
THE MUSIC STAFF:
The music staff are university music students and professional music teachers who assists the faculty by working with the conductors and specialists. They help in large group rehearsals, sectionals and in lessons. Many staff also conduct small camper ensembles who perform at a camper ensemble concert.
