We offer several ways for campers to receive financial assistance.

Campers may apply for more than one scholarship but may receive assistance from only one.

Matching Grant

NMC will match up to $50 donated by the students' school or music school, giving the student a total of $100 off the camp fee.

Partial Scholarship

The NMC Partial Scholarship Fund awards a limited number of $100.00 Scholarships each year. They are awarded based on talent, technical proficiency and individual need, as well as date of request.

The Matthew Ferguson Memorial Staff Scholarship Fund

The Matthew Ferguson Memorial Staff Scholarship Fund was established in 1996 by the NMC Music Staff. The funds received provides financial assistance to talented young musicians who would not otherwise be able to attend camp, with priority given to lower income families. Funding comes from staff and faculty donations, from camp activities and from public donations made at the end of camp Open House concerts. In 2009, the scholarship fund was renamed in memory of Matthew Ferguson, who had spent his life at camp and was an ardent supporter of the Fund.
