Band at Senior Division
One Week of AMAZING!
On the first day of Band, campers sometimes look at the music and think they’ll never be able to play it.
And then they do.
With two hours of full rehearsal, a sectional with all the members of their section—woodwind, brass, percussion—a group lesson with our faculty specialist and loads of help from our Music Staff, campers find out they can do more than they thought they could.
After placement hearings on Sunday afternoon, campers are placed in the Symphonic Band with Sharon Fitzsimmins, the Wind Ensemble, with John Phillips or the Symphony Orchestra, with Michael Lyons.
The Bands’ repertoire pushes the campers to challenge themselves, and the staff, and faculty specialists give them all the tools to achieve new levels of technique, skill and ensemble playing.

- Camp-wide Chorus with Sharon Fitzsimmins
- Chamber Music option
- a mixed elective option- sports and a potpourri of other electives
- recreation periods
- professional concert
- evening programme
