Larry has been playing professionally for over 35 years and has been an educator for 30. A Yamaha Education Artist, he has taught grade 5 beginners through to University and adult community groups. Currently Larry is the Music Director for National Music Camp of Canada, Music Director for the Weston Silver Band and the Brampton Concert Band, as well as Head if Music for DeLa Salle College “Oaklands” in Toronto. He has been blessed to back up many great musicians that include David Foster, Andrea Bocelli, Aretha Franklin and Diana Krall, and some old favorites as Paul Anka, Joni Mitchell and the Temptations. Larry has had the privilege to be a member of DCT (David Clayton Thomas) the Paul Read Orchestra, the Ron Collier Jazz Orchestra, the Canadian Tribute to Glenn Miller and the National Concert Band of Canada. Larry has played in pit orchestra’s that include, Miss Saigon, Lion King, Show Boat and Crazy for You. He can be heard on many CD’s and commercials, most recently on Christmas recordings by Alan Jackson and Matt Dusk.
